Testing MOND on Earth

MOND is one of the most popular alternatives to Dark Matter (DM). Whileefforts to directly detect DM in laboratories have been steadily pursued overthe years, the proposed Earth-based tests of MOND are still in their infancy.Some proposals recently appeared in the literature are briefly reviewed, and itis argued that collaborative efforts of theorists and experimenters are neededto move forward in this exciting new area. Possible future directions areoutlined.
